The doctor sends an SMS message with a link (URL) for you to click to start your secure video consult.
4. Medical
Certificate
If a Medical Certificate is required the doctor will email it directly to the patient.
5. Prescriptions & Medication
Prescriptions sent to your pharmacy or you can download the Tonic app to nominate a pharmacy
6. Invoice sent
to you
A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you.

A GET DOCTOR ONLINE consultation is a secure online video consultation between a patient and a registered Sri Lankan doctor.
Patients can prepare for a DOCTOR consultation by:
- having the microphone where the Doctor can hear you clearly
- position the camera so you can have good eye contact with the online Doctor
- be ready to talk about your medical history and current symptoms/condition
- be willing to ask and answer questions
Smartphones, laptops, desktop computers or tablets with a webcam or camera can be used for a DOCTOR consultation.
If you do not have access to a smart phone or computer with a webcam, consultations can be conducted over the phone, simply let us know when making your booking
